I love this picture - the 1st day we were in Banff we took the gondola ride up Sulfur Mountain where you can see for miles (while also being attacked by large black, biting flies) and get images such as this one. The Bow River flows through Banff and by the Banff Springs Hotel (amazing - hopefully we can stay there next time!) and the golf course. Basically, it's just plain fun being this high up and not having to hike it!

Canada Four

Thanks for sharing all of these. I am originally from Calgary and used to live in Canmore and I miss the mountains very much.
We are now in Missouri and I discovered your blog via OSP. I am happy to know a neighbor appreciates my "home" as much as I do. (PS - Catching a glimpse of a Grizzly! That's a big deal! Few people even see them up close even once.)
