Chicago

This first one is not Chicago, but a snapshot from my balcony at home. The unfortunate invention of electricity gets in the way just a bit.

These are from a recent trip to Chicago with my husband and his family (for Bulls/Bears games for the boys) and a little shopping for me. It was icy and cold and windy yet still enjoyable. One of my favorites from the weekend is the horse-drawn carriage. My settings were completely wrong for this picture as I had just come from taking some indoor shots, but the motion of it is still lovely and tells the story of how quickly these guys cross the streets to avoid being honked at by mean cabbies!

Absolutely great colours in these images. I love the tiger pictures on the previous blog also. SOme great camerawork there. Why not photoshop the wires out of the sunset? although I think it gives it interest.
